FREDI CRUZ LUMBE

👋 About Me
I was born in Huaraz, at the foot of the Cordillera Blanca — the birthplace of Peruvian mountaineering.

As a certified IFMGA–AGMP mountain guide, I’ve spent my life surrounded by valleys, glaciers, and high peaks. What began as childhood curiosity became a lifelong passion and profession.

With over a decade of experience, I guide technical climbs, alpine expeditions, and trekking routes throughout Peru and South America. I’ve also participated in exploratory expeditions and new route development in remote mountain ranges.

In addition to guiding, I work as a tour conductor, connecting visitors with the cultural and natural richness of the Andes.

CLIMBING

PERU

We’re opening new mixed routes (PD to D) across some of the most unexplored and wild corners of the Peruvian Andes.

🔹 Cordillera Central – Technical mixed lines in lesser-known valleys, offering raw alpine terrain and solitude.
🔹 Cordillera Raura – New alpine climbs in a pristine and rarely visited mountain range.
🔹 Cordillera Vilcanota & Vilcabamba (Cusco) – Pioneering routes on peaks surrounded by sacred landscapes and glacial lakes.
🔹 Cedros Sector – Northern Cordillera Blanca – Remote objectives in the wilder side of the Blanca, beyond the crowds.

🧭 Exploration-driven, alpine-focused, and rooted in local knowledge — these new routes offer fresh opportunities for climbers seeking technical ascents off the beaten path.

ECUADOR

🔁 Many of these routes are revisited each season as part of my work as a certified mountain guide.
They’re not just exploration projects — they’ve become part of my annual guiding schedule, offering challenging and rewarding experiences for climbers from around the world.
