VALLUNARAJU EXPEDITION

Vallunaraju (5,686 m) is one of the most accessible high-altitude peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, towering above the city of Huaraz. Its name in Quechua means “twinned snow peak,” referring to its dual summits. With a straightforward approach and incredible summit views over the entire Blanca range, it’s a classic choice for acclimatization, beginners, or as a warm-up climb before tackling more technical mountains.
